Abstract

A predicted control algorithm for use in the active control of structural seismic responses is presented. The proposed algorithm can decrease the effect of time delay and enhance the efficiency and reliability of the active structural control system. Digital simulation of the predicted control algorithm for an eight-story building structure with AMD is performed, in which Gaussian noises with different standard deviations are added to simulate process and measurement noises. The bias of the identified structural parameters also is considered. Results of the digital simulation show the efficiency of the proposed predicted control algorithm.
