Relation between the Proportion of the Complained Symptoms of the Worsen Health in Nishisuma Area and the Local Nitrogen Diodes Concentration after the Hanshin Earthquake

Abstract
The health of inhabitants living in the damaged Nishisuma area was researched by means of a questionnaire at the time after one year of Hanshin Earthquake. And the local NO2 concentrations of the capsules set in these areas were measured in the time after one half years of earthquake.
The following two respects were turned out through this survey.
1. The proportion of the people who complained about health worsening after earthquake reached 34% of those who replied to the questionnaire after one year of earthquake. The complained proportion of people who residented in surrounding of trunk road was higher than the proportion of people in the other areas.
2. The relation between the residential out door NO2 concentrations which were measured with the capsule after the half year of questionnaire survey and the proportion of people who complained about their hearth worsening after the earthquake in the same NO2 concentration residence, was statistically significant.
